What Is the Bereavement Ministry?
The Bereavement Ministry is an outreach support programme at the Boulevard Baptist Church for persons who have lost loved ones. It was launched on April 20, 2014, with the guiding scripture: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4).
Our Mission
The Bereavement Ministry is committed to reaching out to our church families who are grieving the loss of loved ones, providing them with ongoing spiritual, loving, caring, and compassionate support.
Personal Contact & Prayer
We make personal contact with the bereaved, praying for them and praying with them, so that no one walks through grief alone.
A Safe Space to Grieve
We provide an emotionally safe space which allows mourners to express their grief freely, helping bereaved individuals and families through the grief process to deal with their pain and come to terms with their loss.
You Are Invited
If you have lost a loved one and are in need of spiritual support — a place to grieve, talk, share, express emotions and feelings, share memories, and find quietness and peace — we invite you to connect with this support group. Come and join us.
